Vision

We dream of a world in which we have the freedom to express our feelings out loud, in order to overcome challenges and celebrate ourselves together.

mission

We are on a mission to help everyone connect with their inner child through jewellery.

Our purpose is to redefine what wearing jewellery should feel like, to get beautiful people to express themselves freely, whoever they are, from wherever they are.

It’s a colourful world.
That's why we love it and we’re committed to paint it some more!

why pinnole?

“Mannaggia, le ‘pinnole’ mi scordai!” - “Dammit, I forgot my pills!”

That’s what our founder’s sweet grandma would say back home in Sicily, halfway between Italian and her own dialect.
‘PINNOLE‘ got stuck with us as one funny word, and it would always bring a smile when thought of.

Now, PINNOLE colours can soothe us when we’re worried, can encourage us when we’re weary, can inspire us when we’re feeling deflated.
Plus, it’s fun!
So PINNOLE just makes sense for us.

behind the colours

The founder and creative force behind PINNOLE is Simona Costanzo.
Born in 1993 in Palermo, Sicily, she’s an architect, photographer, painter, and jewellery designer.

Simona has lived in Italy, France, Spain, and currently resides in London, UK.

What truly gives her a sense of freedom is artistic experimentation. She finds peace of mind in the practical moment of creation, because in her perception of art there's no right or wrong: every possible mistake, every smudge can become added value.
Simona is an artist who doesn’t let rules and taboos compromise the freedom to express herself.

style

Her designs align with the willingness to let herself loose.  Fun and playfulness are the only unshakable realities in this narrative, where everything is in constant motion.
The many colours and unique shapes designed by Simona represent a world in which you can be yourself, no matter what.

brainchild

Drawing inspiration from fine art, sculpture, fashion and design, everything around Simona encourages her creativity.
She then turns these stimuli into her art form, holding onto the genuine wonder of a child along her whole creative path.
